1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
Living a fulfilled life makes me try harder! Being able to travel, have new experiences, meet new people and impact others in a positive and meaningful way is everlasting. Achieving life goals is an ongoing journey for fulfillment. I sincerely believe to whom much is given, much is required, so working harder is not a sacrifice but a privilege. My willingness to try harder is gifts from God, that in return bring reward and blessings.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
A perfect day for me consists of learning, living, and loving. Continuous learning inspires, gives hope, ignites the imagination, and instills knowledge. Acquiring knowledge is the most fruitful effort to living a productive and prosperous life. Sharing these experiences with those you love is priceless. Each day should be lived with gratitude and meaning. Enjoying life with the ones you love brings about a perfect day of continuous joy and happiness.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
Each day I aspire to make a difference in the lives of others. As CEO of MADE Today, Inc., I am positioned to impact families across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia providing programs to build character, family life, improve financial stability, and encourage mentorship. Each resource equips individuals to prepare for a better quality of life. My goal and platform is to make a difference in the lives of others across the world.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
The most treasured item in my home is our dog Gabby. She is a four year old Maltese. We bought her right before we got married. With my husband serving as a Major in the U.S. Army she has kept me company through several duty stations and deployments. My husband will be serving in Afghanistan for the next twelve months and has left me with our very best friend and companion until he returns.
