1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
The Serenity Prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. COVID-19 has shaken our world. In my career, our military family, not to mention two hurricanes damaging our home, this prayer keeps me grounded to my purpose and ability to make positive change.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
The prospect of making each day better than before. As a practicing registered nurse, many times I have taken care of people who feel they are at their lowest, in unbearable pain, and at times, knocking at death’s door. Giving them hope, making them smile, and the sound of laughter in a sterile hospital room, guides my heart and hands in making their days, minutes and sometimes their last seconds better than those before.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
If I were an educator, math! As a former mathematics major, I get excited about algebra and calculus, but I honestly do not understand common core mathematics; 5x5 will always equal 25. In life lessons, I would teach empathy. Globally as a population, having the ability to understand/share the feelings of another would make this world a better place.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
One-hundred-twenty-five. My life experiences, even at a young age have been vast. Each of these experiences have brought be closer to people from all walks of life, which has given me the ability to meet them where they are. I am fortunate to share my own experiences in hopes of making lives better. Helping Ronald McDonald House Charities “keep families close,” is just one of the many opportunities my life experiences have afforded me.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
After days, weeks, and sometimes months of distance, flying into a new city or country to visit my husband is the epitome of anticipation. Seeing him on the opposite side of airport security, the first kiss, holding his hand as we travel through a new place, and exploring while he tells of his experiences are the greatest dates ever!
