Sandi Glandt - Mrs. International 2022
1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
BE the positive impact and change in this world that you want to create. Just like when I started my own business, I realized I needed to create a platform and place where I could give resources to the material I wished I had when I was going through pregnancy, postpartum and the early stages of raising a baby. We cannot expect change to happen if we do not show up and create it first.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
My husband is the most dedicated and hard-working man I know. He has strong family values, a huge heart and commitment to helping others succeed. Everyone is drawn to my husband for his fun-loving spirit and zest for life! His career is a large part of his mission and although he works long hours he is very intentional about prioritizing our family and spending quality time with our boys and fueling into our marriage.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
Every summer my family would go to our shore house together. I would go with my parents, two brothers and with my Bubbie and Pop (my grandparents). We would go to the beach, visit the boardwalk and cook dinner together at night. We had so much fun making memories and being together. Some of my best memories are at my family's beach house that has been in our family for over 35 years!
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
Very outgoing, determined and resourceful. If there is something I wanted, no matter the obstacle, I would find a way to make it happen. I was always the first one to welcome someone new and was given the name “Sandi Sunshine†because I would always brighten someone's day and was and still am a very positive person and have a positive outlook on life.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
I would buy my husband a month off of work where he could truly unplug from the daily demands of work and just relax and enjoy his time with our family. My husband works so hard with long hours, holidays and weekends and I would want to give him the gift of being present and having intentional time with our family. There is no better gift you can give someone than the gift of time.
