1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
I'm from Ottawa, Ontario, the capital of Canada renowned for its rich history and vibrant culture. Key attractions like Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, impressive art galleries, and museums highlight the city's appeal. Ottawa is celebrated for its multicultural diversity, cosmopolitan atmosphere, safety, and natural beauty. As Canadians, our friendly nature and kindness are also defining traits. I encourage you to visit; you might just fall in love with this beautiful city as well!

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
In my closet, these two shawl, 'Phulkari,' gifted by my grandmother on my wedding day. Handcrafted at 82, it symbolizes her love and teaches me willpower, determination, and patience. The other is a full length mirror from my husband inscribed with "My Queen." Each morning, it reminds me to uphold integrity, trust, commitment, kindness, and fearlessness in all I do.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
I have a passion for cooking 'Parathas,' a dish I've enjoyed since childhood. Crafting the dough and shaping it just right with the rolling pin feels like an art form to me. It's also my husband's favorite meal, which adds to its special place in my heart.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
If I had an extra hour each day, I would focus on nurturing the 'Ottawa Women's Group' community I founded five years ago. This community offers a supportive environment where women connect, share experiences, and provide mutual support through meetups, online forums, and groups. I'd enhance our resources with counseling referrals, self-care tips, and activities fostering self-esteem. My aim is to maintain a safe, empowering space where women combat loneliness and find comfort in community.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I firmly believe in the dignity of labor and hold that no job is beneath anyone. Several years ago, as a student, I worked on a farm for a summer, where I cleaned dairy stalls and fed cows. It was one of the toughest and, yes, a bit dirty jobs I've ever undertaken, but it also significantly increased my appreciation for farmers and their hard work.
